“It is great to see the success of our graduates on the national stage,” explained Gustavo Yacaman. “To see where these young drivers came from to where they were this past weekend is incredible and to think that we had a small part in helping in their success is rewarding.”

Kyffin Simpson and TJ Speed would sweep the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda proceedings taking the pole position, fastest race lap in all three races and three victories on his way to a dominating weekend. TJ Speed would also see YACademy competitor Varun Choksey earn one top five result and three top ten finishes. Continuing on with the success, Rodrigo Guiterrez and Mac Clark added top ten results for YACademy Series drivers as Arturo Flores and used his experience gaining in the Winter Series program to find himself in the thick of the racing action.

Yacaman continued, “We are working on more test days in 2021 and putting the pieces together on the 2022 YACademy Winter Series.
